Sure, visiting temples and disneyland are fun, but what do you do after that? There are countless resources on Japan travel, but it can be difficult to find Tokyo advice from a parent’s perspective.

Both of my kids were born in Tokyo, and since 2001 I have been searching the city for fun things to do. Now I want to share some of them with you.
Who am I? I’m just a dad who has spent over a decade living and working in Tokyo. I also write a column for the Japan Times about family fun in Japan, and as a permanent resident, I continue to spend much of my time researching, writing and exploring the country that has become my second home.
